Maggie Thomason

Head of Global Operations Analytics and Information Management
As Head of Operations Global Standards and Analytics, Maggie is responsible for providing critical Analytics, Standardization of Process Metrics and state of the art Site and Workforce Management that enable Transformation to all Lines of Business and Regions within Citi’s Global Consumer Bank.

Maggie has held many leadership roles in her tenure within the Global Consumer Bank since she joined Citi in 2001. Her early tenure was in Risk and Decision Management (DM) where she was part of conversion and onboarding teams for both The Home Depot Credit Card Portfolio and Macy’s Credit Portfolio establishing the relationship and developing underwriting and marketing strategies. Her work establishing Macy’s DM resulted in significant increases in return on investments for marketing. From 2008 to 2011 Maggie was the Portfolio Management lead for multiple cards portfolios with more than $1 billion dollars in sales annually. During that time, she drove significant increases in profitability across all files. In September 2011 Maggie was named Chief of Staff for Citi Retail Services. She provided extensive support for the CEO of Retail Services and the Executive Leadership team on key business activities. In 2015 she took a leadership role in Global Operations as CAO for U.S. Branded Cards Operation team leading Strategic Initiatives in addition the North America Client Insights and Actions teams. In late 2017 Maggie was asked to head up Global Operations Strategy where she was responsible for driving productivity and resource optimization for more than 45,000 operations resources globally. Most recently Maggie was the Head of Global Operations Analytics & Information Systems for the Consumer Bank. Maggie was responsible for defining, developing, and delivering data-driven insights and solutions to drive customer and operational effectiveness. Through consolidation of analytics and reporting across Operations the team enabled Citi Operations leaders at all levels to have the power of data at their fingertips. Early in her career, she spent several years with GE Consumer Finance.

A multi-year Chairman’s Leadership Award winner, Maggie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Mathematics from Marquette University. Maggie is based in Irving, Texas.
